This membership marks a significant step towards greater inclusion in social protection systems worldwide for persons with disabilities. CBM will work through the GCSPF to ensure that disability is prioritised in discussions about social protection, leading to policies and programs that truly meet the needs of persons with disabilities.
Our representative, Anne Schrader, will focus on advocacy and UN engagement, ensuring that the rights and needs of persons with disabilities are central to global conversations on social protection. Her participation in various working groups will drive inclusive policies that empower peorsons with disabilities to live with dignity and security.
This new chapter in our advocacy work enables CBM to amplify our efforts to reduce poverty, eliminate barriers, and promote equal opportunities for persons with disabilities worldwide. Together with our partners in the GCSPF, we are dedicated to creating a future where everyone, regardless of ability, is protected and supported.
