Including Persons with Disabilities in DRR: A Research Study from Eight Countries of Africa, Asia and America

The report concludes with recommendations to support improved disability-inclusive DRR.

Lessons Learned: The CBM Crisis Modifier Activation in Bangladesh Floods (2022)

Key shortcomings include neglecting the vulnerabilities of persons with disabilities in risk assessments and a lack of disability-disaggregated data. Early warning systems are often inaccessible, and persons with disabilities are not systematically considered as a target group. On a positive note, the analysis also shows that improvement is happening, and that more and more AHA actors are aware of those gaps and start to address them.
