Technical advice on inclusion

CBM’s technical advice on inclusion (TAI) is guided by the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), which enshrines the rights of one billion persons with disabilities. The convention requires states to ensure that all stakeholders uphold these rights and include persons with disabilities in all spheres of their work.

Our goal

The aim of our technical advice on inclusion is to support organisations working in development—including governments, UN agencies, and non-governmental organisations—to make their internal and external processes more inclusive.

We promote the implementation of a rights-based approach to disability in development by supporting our clients and partners to strengthen their policies, systems, and capacities on key issues such as inclusive programming, accessibility, disaggregated data, participation and awareness-raising.
